Single Ladies (Cover) -Sara Bareilles
She's so stinking talented!! I'm obsessed with her.
This wedding by Andria Lindquist is one of the most amazing I've ever seen. And their story is precious. And they eloped, which is my favorite thing ever. Ever. Go ahead and drool, you can thank me later.
2011 in Twitter Review
And my Kelly Clarkson obsession continues to grow. I don't care how cheesy and cliche this song is, it could pretty much be the Fearless theme song.
Lastly: Love, Lace, & Life Changesis back on the air. Not that any of you noticed that it was down, but it went through some major renovations, and now it's back! I still haven't updated since...oh....September, but I'm going to! I promise! Anyway, you can still go look at how pretty it is and ooh and ahh at all my hard work, right? Quit judging me and just go.
Have you seen this youtube video? Dancing with an iPod in Public? It's my new favorite. And then he went and made a Christmas edition. I've decided I want to re-create it {as I'm sure plenty have people have}. Anyone down to video for me?
And while enjoying this video yesterday, I somehow ended up in the youtube world of flash mobs. It's one of my life goals to be in a flash mob {no really, it's number 12 on my 30 before 30 list}. So I thought I'd share a couple of my favorites.
For some reason, this one makes me cry every time. I don't know why! Maybe it's the nostalgic factor of the song or the idea of that many people doing something like this, but it just gets me every time.
And this one's just fantastic as hell. Get it girls!
{Fun fact about me: I know all the choreography to Single Ladies. Yes. My roommate and I spent an unnecessary amount of time our sophomore year of college learning it. Makes for great party entertainment. I also know all the moves to Britney's Slave 4 U.}
I'm guest posting at one of my favorite blogs today! Just a little something about holiday favorites, but you should check it out. Tanya's pretty much the cutest.
Preface: I am deeply, madly, fully in love with my sweet boyfriend. And outrageously attracted to him. Outrageously. But, I'm just one of those girls with a great appreciation for beautiful men. Always have been, always will be. So this post does not undermind my love for J, or make me a bad girlfriend. It makes me your best friend :)
So without further ado, your daily dose of beautiful. The men who get my blood pumping, if you will.
The ole' faithfuls. I had this poster of Leo on my wall for...years. And had books on him. I still think he's incredibly attractive, and his acting has obviously gotten far better {Inception. Mind blown.}, but this baby face will always melt me. And oh Mr. Joseph. I have loved you since the days of 3rd Rock from the Sun. You are precious and 500 Days of Summer is the best. As are you.
The brooders. Ugh. Doesn't that dark & mysterious just get to you? But the wonderful thing about both James & Ryan is that they both have these wonderfully quirky personalities in interviews. So they just cover all the bases. Beautiful, talented, brooding, & funny. Yes please. Thank you.
The new adds. Let me introduce you to Henry Cavill if you haven't already met. This is the man that if I met him, I am quite certain I would turn into a puddle on the floor. That jawline. Those eyes. Those abs {google it. you're welcome.}. Dream. Boat. And an accent. And a talented actor. Aoooga! I wonder what it's like to be that beautiful? Ok I'll stop. And then there's sweet Adam. Parks & Rec has just made me fall head over heels for you and your wonderfully dry sarcasm. Adam+Leslie 4ever.
For good measure here's a link to my "I want to go to there" man pintrest board. Go wild.
{Also: you may notice a new button over on the right. That's one of my favorite bloggy friends Tanya from Mr. Taylor & His Lady. I have an ad space on her wonderful blog and will be featured over there in a couple weeks. Go check her out, she's precious.}
Bundled up in my early birthday present, the chunky scarf my aunt knitted for me.
Happy day after Thanksgiving! I hope you're recovering from eating too much & Black Friday shopping if you went. My plan is to curl up and watch my fill of Christmas movies on my mama's couch & then cheer on my Tigers against #3 Arkansas this afternoon!
Also. What's up Follow Fest bloggers?! Glad you made your way to Fearless! Feel free to follow {on the left over there} & comment to let me know you were here. Want to know a bit about me before you do? Be sure to check out the about me section above and peruse previous posts as well-I think they sum me up pretty well.
So here's some entertainment for you! My favorite things on the internet
A refreshingly honest article by "Make it Mad" Max. Worth the read, really.

Y'all. Melanie Amaro. If you don't watch X-Factor, you need to go to YouTube and watch every single one of her videos. And bring the Kleenex.

I'm just really proud of Demi. How many celebs come out of rehab and honestly talk about their journey and recovery. And then take a Lil' Wayne song and BLOW IT OUT OF THE WATER! Ugh. She's so awesome.
LBDs, private school, pumps, country boyfriend, trips to the salon, sassy attitude, girls nights, extensions, red lipstick. It all fits. Except one thing...
My deep, deep love for rap music and gettin' down. I discovered around the 4th grade {while attending a Christian private school} that I had this inate ability to memorize all the words to a rap within a few times of listening to it. I just love it. I know it's dirty, I know most of it's awful, and I honestly don't listen to it very often because of that. But it's a part of what makes me me. So in honor of that, I'm doing you guys the great favor of sharing my playlist of favorite raps. It ranges from N.W.A. to Nicki Minaj, but it's my favorites, the ones I know all the words to.
Happy thuggin' Friday.
{Some of these are pop songs that don't seem to fit, but I just really love Lil Mama & Nelly's contributions. Bear with me.}
I have had the most outrageous sinus migraine for the last 2 days, making it exceedingly difficult for me to be a contributing member of my team at work, much less talk to my friends or make sense on the blog. I think I pulled it off yesterday, but I make no promises for this Tueday. Bullet points. That's the way to go, right? Okay.
Therefore, I bring you
Ramblings
1. Are there any other females as excited as me about Immortals & the Dark Knight Rises coming out? I find myself totally geeking out over newly released pictures from the Dark Knight set, and excitedly punching J in the arm every time an Immortals trailer comes on. It's very feminine of me. I'm sorry I'm not sorry.
2. Everyonce in a while I like to do a Biggest Thing God is Teaching Me post. As of right now, I am unable. Because He's teaching me so freakin' much. Like...I keep getting overwhelmed and asking Him to slow down, I'm tryinig to take notes here, yo! Revealing that I have zero capacity to trust Him, that I really think my plans are better than His, that I kind of struggle with believing He actually has good things for me and isn't just a mean kid on an anthill with a magnifying glass. How to better love, and even bigger, how to let myself be loved {woof...I suck at that, y'all}.
3. Is G-Chat not the greatest thing ever invented? The perfect way to make the hours fly by, catch up with friends, vent-all without your firewall or boss having any idea. Sha-bam!
4. If, at some point., you find yourself standing in front of a RedBox on a Monday night, box of decongestants in one hand, wallet in the other, trying to decide what movie you're going to curl up in bed with, stay away from The Other Woman. And don't be fooled by the fact that it has Natalie Portman and Lisa Kudrow in it. It will take you on the most ridiculously emotional ride, and while it has a happy{ish} ending, it still leaves you exhausted. Just...don't.
4. Jimmy Kimmel did a bit on his late night show of parents telling their kids they had eaten all of their Halloween candy. It equal parts made me laugh really loud and made me really sad for the state of today's childrens. Hysterically crying over eaten candy? For reals?! Parents....wake up. BUT the last kids, the ones who start around 2:47-They. Are. Awesome. I really, really hope my kids are this quick on their feet. YOU SNEAKY MOM!
I bet you thought this entire post was going to be LSU themed because of the game tomorrow, didn't you? Nope. Exceeding expectations in a single bound. This is about something much more important.
Y'all. I got it bad. I know I'm years behind, I know. I blame it on the fact that when JB first hit the scene my roommate was so in love with him it's all I heard for months on end. I decided then that I was never going to succumb to the Bieber craze. I lasted 2 years! That's impressive, if you ask me, especially with how huge his career has gotten.
But it's over. I've crossed to the dark side. I, a grown ass 22 year old, have Bieber fever.
My roommate was laying next to me as I made that banner last night, and I know I was creeping her out with my self-diaglogue. Oh dang! Look at him! Wait. He's how old? Crap. I feel creepy. Oh well...I'll keep looking. It's for the blog!! Seriously. I was only googling him for 20 minutes because I needed pictures for my blog. And because he's stinking precious!!
It's all YouTube's fault. Y'all know how deeply my love for rap goes {Oh, you don't? It goes deep. Real deep.}, so when I came upon the below video, I found myself quickly swept up in the Biber current.
I've watched it like 35 times, and that's an under-estimation. Bieber fever, full force y'all. Don't hate.
And THEN I found this:
JB and Boyz II Men. I can't even stand it. Too much. Ok, I'm done.
It's Friday & I went to CVS last night, so you know what that means right?
Pink lips.
Covergirl Spellbound
Happy Friday, y'all.
Oh, what coworker? You need me to turn down my Justin Bieber playlist? Ugh. Fine.
Cowboys and Indians was so much fun. I won't lie, I'm pretty proud of my home-made costume. Note to self: home-made is the way to go, inexpensive & modest! We were a big hit at the party and had a blast, even though we were some cold Indians who hid inside most the time.
I could get used to J being a cowboy real quick. What a cutie! I love his grip on Hagen, who absolutely needed to be in every picture his daddy was in. A friend of mine made these feather earrings for our costumes, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to wear them all the time. And my moccasins? Made on a legit reservation by a friend's Native American father. So cool.
I'm so in love with being a MOH already. Does it have to end in May? Can I just be your MOH forever? It doesn't really work like that, does it? We went wedding dress shopping Saturday, I cried a couple times, as expected. She looked like a dream in every dress she put on {duh}, but I'm pretty sure she found the one. It caused me to cover my face with my sweater and sob. I'm a reactor, can't help it. And then we stopped by the reception site so I could squeal and freak out over that too.
Good weekend. Monday always seems to come so fast, doesn't it?
Goal for the week: Keeping my eyes on Jesus. Every day. Good & bad. More on this coming later this week ;)
This weekend, mom, pops, & I headed up to Lake Charles to watch Sam Houston State University beat up on McNeese. Is it wrong to cheer for a Texas team when you're as Louisiana as they come?
Not when you've known this kid since diapers, and he's an absolute beast on the field. 5"1" standing next to 6'4" is pretty hilarious, huh? Riley and I have known each other forever {that's his dad in the previous picture. everything really is bigger in TX.}. He's an offensive lineman for SHSU, and literally 3 times my size.
Even if you've never met my parents, I bet you can pick out which ones are Bollingers and which ones are Smith's, can't you? {Hint: I got my height from my parents, & Riley's mom is bending down next to my mom.}
And then I made the abosolutely awful, terrible, night-ruining, but awesome decision of eating this monster AFTER I had basically eaten my body weight in sushi. Still recovering.
Alright. That's the weekend update/instagram upload. Tomorrow? First style blog.
