I've gotten up to lead worship before with laryngitis, and for the 25 minutes the congregation was worshipping with me, my vocals sounded better than they ever have before. I'm not about to make it past the first round on American Idol, and I can only play infantile things on the piano... but when your heart is expressing your adoration of the Lord through music, you cannot help but sound angelic.
